Avoidstreet’s second collection explores the boundaries of bootlegging, authenticity, memory, and fast-fashion strategies: “You copy me, I copy you”. Cane - Made in Osdorp revisits the garments and accessories from the previous collection, M&M. The lookbook features a series of studio portraits, juxtaposed against instructions of how to assemble IKEA furniture. The runway looks were made in collaboration with Steinarr Ingolfsson, and the fashion show was kindly supported by Fanfare, an Amsterdam-based platform focused on Graphic Design.
